What is the deadline for registering?
You must register by July 19 if you would like a shirt. If you don't want a shirt, you can register up until the day of the event.
What is the color made of?
The color is made from food grade quality cornstarch using an advanced manufacturing process. It is non-toxic, is 100% safe, and also biodegradable.
Can I take pictures?
Yes! We encourage pictures!
Are children allowed?
Yep! Children will love this event. Children 7 and under are free, but will not receive a shirt or color packets. All children must have a release waiver signed by a parent/guardian and turned in before they are allowed to participate. The waiver can be obtained and signed at the event.
Can my family watch?
You bet, bring them all for this event. Better yet, sign them up to run or walk with you. The more, the merrier!
Can I wear costumes?
Please do! There is nothing like a good laugh. Just remember, the whiter the costume is, the better it will look blasted with color.
What time does the race begin?
The race will begin at 8:00 AM. We will release waves of runners every 5 minutes. We recommend getting into Genoa 60 minutes before race time for parking and registration if required.
Can I Walk?
Please do! The slower you are, the more color we blast at you!
How do I volunteer?
Thank you for asking! Please click on the '
Volunteer' link to register as a volunteer. Volunteers will throw color on the participants, help with registration, or help us clean up.
Who does it benefit?
All proceeds will go towards purchasing a whirlpool tub for Genoa Medical Facilities to be used by our residents, patients, and tenants.
Can I get a refund for my registration?
No refunds are allowed. You can still pick up your race packet and swag, or you can transfer your registration to someone else 2 weeks before the race.
Can I transfer my registration?
Yep! You can transfer your registration to someone else up to 2 weeks prior to the event. To transfer registrations, you need to send us the name, contact info, email, and shirt size of the person to whom the registration will be transferred to.
Can you ship my packet to me?
Nope! You must come the day of the event and pick-up your packet.
Are there age limits?
Age, who is counting? We encourage everyone to come and join in the fun. However, anyone 8 and older needs to pay their registration fee. Feel free to bring strollers and wheelchairs, all are welcome here in Genoa!
When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be held the day of the event. See the packet pick-up tab for more information.
Will the color stain my clothes, shoes, or skin?
We are using PurColour Celebration Powder. It can stain clothes and the skin. Typical machine washing, with stain remover, removes the stains. So, with that being said, we suggest wearing items that you wouldn't mind getting the color on.
Will the color get in my car?
Bring a towel or plastic bags along, there should be no problem. However, if you do get some in your vehicle, it can be dusted away or vacuumed easily.
